My very first post ever!

Ok, well I have finally gotten around to starting this blog.  I've been meaning to for so long now because I am constantly making something and so I figure I should share my successful projects as well as my complete failures with others, or at least I should document all said successes and failures.  I need to get better at taking pictures of my creations, but yesterday I finished the second of two knitted donuts I made.  They're pretty cute and very easy and quick to make.  They are ideal for my one year old because she likes to play in the kitchen but she puts everything in her mouth.  She can chew on these donuts all she wants, and they won't hurt her!  If I didn't have to worry about a little mouth chewing on them, I would have sewn on those long rectangular beads for sprinkles, but I didn't want to take the chance on anything coming off, so I just knit the sprinkles in with a strand of contrasting yarn, or several different strands in the chocolate donut with the pink icing.  You can find the pattern here;  http://www.craftbits.com/project/doknit
